Rider needs assistance-Utah on way to RR

Post by CraigRegs » Thu Sep 05, 2019 9:42 am

Pulling into the hotel in Logan UT last nite heard a grinding sound from the ft. brake. Inside pad on left caliper appears to be shot. Left a message for local Yamaha dealer. They open at 9 (90 min from now). Looking for a backup plan if they dont have parts. 515-360-0784 if you have advice.

Twin Falls ID dealer has the parts and says he can squeeze me in. And it’s on my route!

Adventure Motorsports Twin Falls, ID.
They had the job done in the time it takes me to find my service manual. And they installed all of the caliper bolts (Marty). They had a tech push his lunch hour back to accommodate me, so I bought it for him. Great shop.

I often have found myself when I was not looking, nor did that discovery take place where I thought it would!
