Oh shit! And here I thought Blue Phoenix just sounded cool.... Thanks for the link Ray, I might have to reconsider the thread title now, dammit.

I took her around the block last night after getting everything buttoned back up. It was dark by then so no final pics yet, but I did get one of the highly important finishing touch, my license plate frame.

Lookin' sharp, and keep the Blue Phoenix name. Only one around here reading Chinese fantasy fiction is Ray.

Chinese fantasy fiction, so that's what they're calling it these days. :o

I went to a local auto paint store that happens to carry PPG. They scanned one of my side panels and said it was a match for BMW Tanzanite Blue paint code X10, or PPG 930272.

And thanks, only problem is I know where all the snafu's are.... ;)

Not the greatest pic but I was in a hurry to take a ride with my son today and hit some of the best roads Ellis county has to offer. I'll try to get a better one up later. Back in the saddle again and it sure is sweet! :D :D <<<Can you see me smiling?

Greatness, and what a day to be out riding. I almost rode past my exit on the way home from work just to ride some more.

You know, there's some certain Tex Mex restaurants around you that "The Rise of El Blue Fenix" would work too. :D

So you're now riding a combo Yamaha-BMW? How insulting that the paint color has "BMW" attached to it.

Just replace the tuning fork roundel on the tank with this and call it a day.

I have it on good authority that the issue with BMW final drives has been greatly over exaggerated! ;)
