Well ???? How do they look?
Ray's in the shitter. He will be unfrozen in March.
Careful Wheatie, might use your page as toilet paper..... no I couldn't do that, it was too good.
The photos overall look great, in accordance with the resolution they were shot in...... but all were good, I have zero complaints. Maybe a lesson for next year, when you have a great shot, use the highest resolution you can.
Keep yer stick on the ice........... (Red Green)

Next year, the high resolution photo will be required for submission, otherwise it doesn't get entered. I probably should have done that this year, but it was thrown together in a shorter time frame.

Now the rest of you know to get your shots for the calendar. I'll work on a tips for a good shots and more specific requirements. I'll look at this calendar when I get it and firm up what's required for 2018.

Most smartphones have more than enough resolution. Where you get into trouble are the people who try to use an image they saved to Facebook or something. Text messages, Facebook, Google, and other cloud based photos will compress the photo to save space.

Emailing a picture from your phone is the easiest way to transfer the full resolution photo for those that don't know how to pull it straight off the phone.

And always leave your digital camera settings on the highest resolution. Memory cards are cheap, don't waste a good shot.

I finally found enough time to order my calendars. From my work computer. On Christmas Eve. So I ordered 3. Feeling pretty Grinchy while working on Christmas Eve.

Got my order in also. Merry Christmas to me!

Actually Merry Christmas to Tim and all that submitted pictures for this. I am sure this will become an Annual Event. Next years pictures will be even better.
I often have found myself when I was not looking, nor did that discovery take place where I thought it would!

I'm not complaining. For real.

Just curious.

Are mine the only ones that are lacking the horizontal lines on the calendar or are they all like that? I mean, there are vertical lines separating the days, but the horizontal ones that separate the weeks are missing.

That is the design of the calendar. Not my part, but the printer's part. They have 6 calendar themes you can use to make your calendar. Only one theme allows you to use a full page image. Unfortunately, that theme doesn't have horizontal lines. It's been a complaint in the past.

The reason I chose Lulu is that they are the provider that I found that is relatively inexpensive, I don't have to pre-buy stock, and I can setup a store so I don't have to handle the money exchange. I'm open to other printers, but this was the best combination I've found.

And here I thought it was by design...... you know, when you have one of those days that seems to drag on for weeks, and before you know it, it's nearly the end of the month.............. ;) :D
