Can you put different dive oil in to prevent the bike from doing a swan dive?

Played with the clutch lever. Realized that setting it closest to the bar would make it much easier to operate while wearing a cast

Got back home from being in DC all week for work and I see that my wife was kind enough to move my new tires from the front porch to the garage. Looks like I'll be sweating and swearing at some point this weekend.

Gave her a Honda spray bath, checked oil and tire pressure. Getting prepared to ride her to work again for the next two weeks since I'll be back on first!

P.S. Life is too short, and health is too valuable, to ride on cheap parade-duty tires.
Yeah, I ride motorcycles. I know why dogs put their heads out of the car windows.
Yeah, I fly hang gliders (3000 hrs.+). I know why the birds sing.

Re: What did you do to your FJR today?
Finally got to try out the hitch mount for my No Mar Tire Changer. Wish I'd had this setup long ago, it's a game changer. No having to dedicate space for it in the garage and bolting it down, and no more chasing around a tire changer mounted to a sheet of plywood. I'm finally starting to figure out the technique on this thing and No Mar lube is awesome. It does a great job and wipes right off your hands with very little residue. I'll have lots of practice by the time I put it away for the season because I have to order tires this weekend for the GSX-S1000.
Why oh why does it always seem that my tires need changing in August? It's so freaking hot out there, I'm pretty certain my sweat could be measured in gallons. One thing that Texas heat is good for is warming up tires. I had to use my mechanics gloves to handle them they were so hot. Lube plus heat is a good thing when putting tires on wheels.
I also discovered a sweet new tool for levering the rear tire up in the air when fiddling with the axle. Works nice because you can lift up on the handle and raise it right where you want it.

Rode 150 miles this morning before the showers/thunderstorms rain me home. Just sweltering hot, not "blow torch" hot this morning.
Think I'll try again in the morning.....

Started replacing throttle cables. Will finish in the morning. Rode my vintage Honda CB400F to a car and bike show, brought home a second place trophy.

Rode an abbreviated portion of Tommy848's loop this morning. My upper right chest still has a lot of healing to do. After 2 hours, I am in severe need of a break. Where's the violin emoji???

Re: What did you do to your FJR today?
No riding this weekend. It has rained the whole time.
While we get lots of rain in Florida. It's normally just afternoon showers.
This has been relentless.
So the FJR sits...............
