A lot better than the xgrip. I prefer slipgrip, but this is a good addition to the field.

I'm on my second generation of this magnetic mount. Stab the phone onto the mount and wiggle it to make sure it's mated tightly; twist to instantly remove. Over 50,000 miles with no failures.

Second generation because the phone case finally wore out; got a new case and new magnet for the phone. (I use the multipurpose mount, screwed onto my dashboard shelf.)

I had over 50K miles on my x-mounts with no failures. But it only takes one time.
