Received my calendar yesterday. Merry Christmas to me!

I noted the recognition for the top 3 photos in the vote. Of course they are ALL winners, but I thought that was a nice (i think... new?) touch.

I think they were there before. There were subtle. My calendar is supposedly in the mailbox while we are in Florida over Christmas. Sure hope my 91yr old neighbor gets it out of the weather. If she doesn’t, that will be the last time I trust her to gather our mail.

Lol. That was a joke. She is the sweetest person ever. Knowing her, she prob has each piece of mail sorted as stacked.

Just a tip, you can go to the usps website and schedule a mail hold for while you are out of town and you'll get a huge bundle of mail at the end of your hold.

This wouldn't work for the calendar though and mine was delivered along with another package we weren't expecting. I had my neighbor send their kid over to grab them and hold them until we got back. Then I freaked my family out showing them my doorbell camera of the "Porch Pirate" that stole my stuff. LOL. I've got the new calendar up and it's looking good now but I suspect April will look much better.

Also, you can do the same vacation hold on FedEx but UPS seems to be a pain about this.

She loves doing the mail collection. I surmise it gives her some happiness in doing something for others. Our town is small and the less people that know we are gone(Post Office) the better. I do tell the local PD that we are out of town so they do a nightly perimeter check. Pretty good service for them to do that. Kinda helps when your wife actually writes their check. LOL

I concur, the January post from Jim is sweet. I am willing to bet the valley where his bike is sitting is 100% covered now and you would need 4wd to get up there.

No, I've always done that. The new part is having your photo be in the top 3!

Then submit it. Hey, you never know. I know it's suppose to be bikes, but I think this may just make it.
