Changed the front tire, replaced my front fender-mounted led driving lights (one became loose and couldn't be tightened and the other has tar on the lens that would come off) yesterday and ride her about 150 miles today! Hoping SEOR will still happen.

Rode it to work...some of us have to still have to do that. Stay safe, and healthy.

changed the coolant today. Need to get a few push pin fasteners, didn't lose them, a few are missing a prong.

Yesterday, rode it in the mountains.

But today, I’m going to handle some conference calls and work out at home and go for a short run, and this afternoon I’m going to ride in the mountains. Probably Brasstown Bald and back.

But tomorrow, Saturday, I’m going to go ride in the mountains with Mrs. Lumberg, and a friend and his SO.

First 3 days of fairly warm sunny weather after mucho rain is good.

I gave my Kawi Z900 some love yesterday. Great naked bike with gobs of torque and HP but one thing it has done is made me appreciate the FJR even more for its handling (especially with the PR5's on it) and the torque it has. I actually am not sure which bike I like to ride more in the twisties. The FJR handles so well.

I was on RT 25 near Travelers Rest yesterday and saw a beautiful FJR going south. Looked like a 2016 given the color and the rider had what looked like a Tourmaster high viz jacket. Anyone here??

Walked by it to get on Aunt Kelly's FZ-07 FOR MY FIRST MOTORCYCLE RIDE SINCE THE STROKE!!! No incidents; no anxieties; no wrong moves.

FJR still needs LED headlight bulbs installed, then reassembly. Should be ready to ride on April Fool's Day.

Maybe this should go in jwilly's Good News thread.

Congrats on getting back on the bike. My first post stroke ride was a get out of jail free card and all was well in the world again.
Now we ALL need some post virus rides.

I am desperately hoping to get out tomorrow or Sunday for my first ride of 2020. 8 or 9 °C (high 40's F) in the forecast but sunny.

Clutch fluid change. Brake fluid change.
Made easier thanks to raYzerman's beautifully hand crafted FJR ABS diagnostic jumper switch do-hicky.

The other cable is also one of raYzerman's creations... (OBD cable interface thing-a-ma-jig)

Yesterday I helped a dead FJR at the gas station by the house. I believe you need a multi function relay
to get the fuel pump running, got one a little more than a mile away. What are you a MacGyver, Boy Scout
MF ? That's funny, heard that before sir, be right back.

Riding to work would definitely make "going" to work a little less bullshitty…

I'm also in the "essential services" boat... It's going to be hell once this plague gets a foothold in our jails/correctional insts.
It's already started to I fear...

I did a post brake fluid change test ride today... 'Was lucky is was 12 degrees and sunny out, but... 'Still to cold and shitty to ride at 05:45 when I leave the house :(

My '06 FJR had full Hole Shot exhaust when I bought it. It sounded cool at first, but became pretty obnoxious after some time on the highway. Today, I left the Hole Shot header on and put on Gen 3 stock cans. I am SO happy with the results! I don't now for sure what an '06 stock system sound like, but this has a little bit of a growl to it, but is FAR from obnoxious. At highway speeds, I hear the engine, not the exhaust. MUCH better!

Texas has officially turned off winter. So today, with extra time on my hands I turned toward the FJR. I removed a few stickers off my trunk that were not high quality and starting to fade/peel/flake. Then I de-winterized it. This means the twice annual cleaning of the windshield happened as I swapped the tall VStream for the stock shield. I put the electrical connectors and controls for the electric suit in their storage bin, and brought inside the winter gear and liners and hung them up.

On pulling the plastic W off the windshield, I noticed two of the nylon screws had popped their heads off. Ordered a whole new set, standard shipping, should be here hopefully before the plague is done so I can ride when it's all over.

Didn't wash it, but at 71f and sunny this afternoon it was a perfect day to chase my son and his Ninja on some of the best roads Ellis county has to offer.
