I'm ahead of the game this year, so far. I keep making improvements to the code so it gets easier to manage. You may have to bear with me for the first few entries as I get any bugs worked out. By request, I'm going to crop the images to the correct size before posting them.

Calendar Contest

You can also get to it from the main page.

CONTEST RULES
1) Vote fairly! This contest is meant to be fun and a benefit to our FJR community. Any attempts to sabotage the contest will result in disqualification and/or ban from the contest and forum.

2) Voting is a 5 star system. Click on the highest star you want to award. Rankings are a combination of rating and number of votes.

3) This is an FJRiders member calendar, not specifically an FJR calendar. You may see pictures of other bikes. Award stars based on what you feel is calendar worthy and what criteria you feel an entry should meet.

4) Submissions are sent to motorcyclecalendar@gmail.com and make sure to send the high resolution picture. Be sure to include your username and info about the pictures. Two submission per member. Pick your best ones!

5) Photos must be you own. No paid photography. You may submit another image if you do not like how your image is performing. All votes for your image are reset.

6) Anyone submitting a photo automatically grants permission for the FJRiders.com staff to use the photo in any FJRiders.com or FJR-related applications.

7) Contest ends November 30th. Pictures may be submitted til then, but rankings are determined by a combination of score and total number of votes. Get your submissions in early so you can receive more votes.

8) I am not turning the calendar sideways for a month. Photos must be in landscape orientation. They will be resized and cropped to a 2300px x 1800px resolution.

Good luck guys.

Update - Order LInks:
The wait is over! I hope you guys are happy with this year's result. We have a good looking product. There is a regular and premium version.

I've gone over this quite a few times and I think I have everything right, but I have mistakes before. For the first of you to look at it, please look over the preview to make sure there are no issues.

2020 FJRiders.com Calendar

2020 FJRiders.com Premium Calendar

ONESHIP is currently a code for free shipping. Lulu usually has a code for some sort of discount. I'll post if I see any others.

Guys, make sure you tell me who you are in the email. I don't want to try to figure it out.

Also, adding a description to each photo is a nice touch. Campaign for your photo.

Must be a raw image... there is a third party large file transfer service (free), called pCloud Transfer.... you upload, include the recipient's email, and away it goes.... link is provided for recipient to download, link is good for a week. Otherwise, contact Tim and re-size it to something that works via email.

Done. 👍

I couldn't find the 2020 contest on the front page, only on this topic's original post.

The Calendar Contest link should have taken you there, but using a tablet may have caused issues. I've added a 2020 Submissions link for easier access.

I tried clicking on photos to vote on, but all I get is an enlargement of the photo, no place to vote, no "stars" shown.
Not working if you are using an iPhone?

(I also submitted a photo myself, using the email link.)

The same on my iPad, so I'll use the 'ol puter to vote with.

I vote using my Amazon Kindle Fire HDX. On my device, when you select a photo to vote on, it fills the screen, then you minimize the screen so it shows the image smaller, and then you see the rating stars below the image, then you select how many stars you want to give it.

Just added another 12 images. Suppose I should get my own in there soon.

I'll see what I can do to get the page more mobile friendly. In the meantime, you can try wheatie's trick or run the site in desktop mode.

I'm using a Chrome browser in incognito mode so cache is cleared. When I click on a photo to vote I see the stars and I see 'you must login to vote' to the right; I'm already logged in. I click on login and get Ooops! The page you are looking for isn't here. Also tried in a regular window of Chrome, same result. Also, I click on the stars, waited for 30 seconds and nothing happens. What am I overlooking??

We've got some weirdness going on with some plugins. I'm looking into it.
