2015 ES named Halle to new owner

Post by Cav47 »

For those of you that cannot see the other sandbox, I have picked up a well farkled 2015 ES from a forum member.

Introducing Halle
Image

NO, that is not the forum member, that is my 8yr old that is all about "helping" If "helping" means sitting on it, holding the I pad while I watch Two Wheel Obsession videos about all the features.

I had planned on picking up one of the 15A that were left over at BBK in Elgin for 10K, but this was a better deal and already was well appointed to my liking.

I have nothing but good things to say about BBK. I told them I would mention them after I bailed out of their model. They were cool about it and always professional.

Sad to see the old 04 go, but it was time to upgrade. I am going to try and get some pictures of the two together before she finds a new owner.

Now if the weather would cooperate, I would ride it more than 15 feet into the trailer, and 15 feet into the garage.
I often have found myself when I was not looking, nor did that discovery take place where I thought it would!

Thanks men and lady! I am super excited. I rode down to the end of the block and back after I sold the 04 today. Wow is it quick. And smooth.

Can't wait for spring break.

Now that Cav has a '15ES I don't like mine anymore. It is like the value has dropped, the exclusivity of my high tech machine is diminished.

Seriously, Cav I am super happy for you. RJAMT's bike could not have gone to a better home. That bike will serve you well.

I am thinking that you will prefer the Gen3 to your '04 on those long highway runs, and probably lots of other times also.

Congrats on the new bike, you seem even younger than I remember...must be the kid in you coming out.

However, if you are working at the pace of the TWO videos, it might take you longer to get the job done.

Dang, I hope BBK has a leftover for $9900 when it comes time for me to shop. That's tempting.
