I understood we are able to cross back & forth now ??

Can cross from NB to NS but no reciprocal agreement yet. Likely will have to wait until the 19th.

You can leave but it means you are required to self-isolate for 14 days upon return to your home province.

NS is open to the other three Atlantic Provinces but it doesn't go the other way until April 19.

And with the (relatively) higher COVID rate in New Brunswick, we might be kept out of the "Atlantic Bubble" for now. Mind you, it is virtually all in the far northeast part of the province (Edmundston region) - we could just move the Quebec border about 25 km to the southeast and let it become their problem.
14 new cases in NB today, 11 in Edmundston. 6.2% of the population has over 80% of the 163 active cases in the province.
