Checked on it, under its’ big ass Nelson Rigg cover. (Hopefully) safely ensconced in an out of the way corner of 444 St. Charles Avenue in NOLA. Got offered a place to stay with a friend, but was already in the hotel and faced with a full schedule. Thanks for the invite brother Pants. You and RFH are always in my thoughts when I’m breezing through Louisiana.

Chez Pants is always open, my friend. Come hungry and thirsty.

Walked by it to ride wifey's FZ-07. Squealed the rear tire downshifting on the approach to a stoplight. Liked to give me a heart attack.

No ABS or traction control for the FZ-07, Hud?

Boy, I'd like to give that bike a good test ride. It's on the very short list for my "twisty bike" when I move to Georgia.

I am trying to get my wife to trade in one of her cruisers for an MT-07 or MT-09.
No luck yet.

I put on a set of GT's and had a wobble. I told the service manager and his response, Just ride it as I was going on a multiple day trip. Got back and the wobble was pretty severe so went to another dealer to install All Balls. To everyone's surprise it lessened it but did not take it all away. The mechanic took a look at the front tire and said it was defective. I took a chance replacing the new tire but figured if it was not bad I would have a spare and really wanted the wobble gone. The new tire was the culprit and the wobble was history. We contacted Michelin and they paid for the new tire. Great customer service on their part. The bike hold a line so well now and feels very tight. Really happy I stuck with it until I figured out what was wrong.

I also put on a set of R-Gaza crash bars. As others have said the box that came from Russia was totally beat up but the bars ok. It was not the easiest job and the fact they sent one bolt without threads did not help but I finally got them on. I really like the looks of these and now have peace of mind in case it drops. I am a believer that its not if but when the bike will fall. I would not want to deal with fixing the damage that would happen without the bars, dealing with insurance claims, increased premiums etc. Cheap insurance in my opinion.

It's also better than 110F. We've spent June and most of July around 90F, and for that I am very very very happy because it's usually MUCH higher by this point in the summer. I'm certain August will come around to it's senses though and try to kill us.

Where are you located? I am in southern NV so I can definitely relate to this comment.

Under gixxerjasen's avatar it says Location: DFW; I'd go out on a limb and say he is in Dallas/Fort Worth Texas.
