Not today, but rode to Blue Ridge Parkway a couple days ago. I passed 1 bike the entire day. Temperature was mid to upper 60's and sunny. I had the parkway to myself. For the life of me, I cannot understand why no one's riding these days. I guess everyone is waiting for 85 degree days or something. Don't know, don't really care because I'm happy touring the BRP with no one else there.

A good suspension ups the fun factor on the FJR bigtime! ...besides allowing for better control of your bike in all situations.

No hurt feeling report. Beer mugs at 5 paces...
ohhh, and to stay on topic, I texted a guy in Oklahoma about his FJR today. I may text some guy in Uhi-yer about his bike tonight. Collar bone is feeling better. Louanne says I can't get a motorcycle unless she gets to go on trips with me occasionally....though she'd rather I quit, all things being equal.

Re: What did you do to your FJR today?
Rode it to work.
Rode it Charlie Brown Airport for a professional meeting where a UPS guy talked about INCREDIBLY interesting geeky shit. Not kidding. Cool Shit like LNG and Tesla trucks, drones launching from package cars, public policy suggestions for delivery parking, urban locker nodes for package pickup, electric tricycle delivery vehicles with interchangeable cargo containers ... like I said ... Cool Shit.
Rode it back to work.
Rode it to a colleague's office to drop off GT baseball tickets for this weekend. (Ranked in the top 20.)
Rode it back to work.
Rode it home.
Wouldn't be surprised if all that comes to 70 miles. Not bad for a work day, eh? Hell yeah; I'm listing the mileage for expense reimbursement!

Made arrangements for EOM week to arrive early and have an onsite seat made (and rear seat covered) at Terry's Custom Seats in TN. Then ride back to maggie valley wed for the meet. Should be interesting, at least thats the plan now...
