Rode it home in the rain. So much milky crap on the road I rinsed it with the hose when I got home. Then I got the stich out and let the bike smell it. The engine started spontaneously... it’s been mostly dry and hot since my wet ride to SC with jwilly a while back, so the stich has been in the closet, as mesh has been the uniform of the day for a while now. Rain today and spread over the next couple, combined with slightly cooler temps, and the iron man suit must come out.

Walked by it to take Kelly's FZ-07 to work. Fun, but requires the briefcase getting stuffed into a backpack.

Rode my own bike to work today. Updated my Zumo to fix the date/time issue since Garmin finally offered a firmware fix. Getting ready to head out tomorrow for Tour of Honor and finish up the Mid Atlantic region.

Rode to work and back. Rode to MIH powersports to get my PR4GT mounted on the front. Amazing how much more it wants to turn with a tire that has rubber on the sides. Got the front t-stem installed, happy to have TPMS front and rear again.

Funny, when mine are worn there's LOTS of rubber on the sides and they seem to want to turn less and less every day.

Picking my FJR up today!!!!!!

Had it in for a valve check and they pinched the gasket. It's been back in the shop for two weeks. Finally ready.

Sucks cause I have had great service from this place over the years.

I miss the big girl.

Oxford OL431...

I have a tank bag already, but... I find it too large and too heavy for what I need/want.
The OL431 is just the right size, pretty light weight and fairly inexpensive at $89.
All I want is enough room for small items I want quick access to like glasses, wallet, phone, visor cleaner, passport, fidget spinner, mouth harp, horse shoe, cribbage board, rabbit's foot, hand grenade, ear plugs, yo-yo, last will and testiment, vaccination record, granola bars, handgun, shoe polish, library card, note from mom, wet wipes, one of those plastic things you put in the center of a 45 rpm record so you can play it on a turntable, baseball cap, keys, flashight, fleshlight, batteries and my favorite troll doll.

New rear tire. T30 Evo GT.
Will try the roadsmart 3s this winter when these wear out.

While I don't ride as much as I used to, the Vstrom gets 90% of my miles in the Summer, so the FJR tire will last to the Winter.

Left the house at 630 am at 76 degrees with a soaked T-shirt and a light north wind. Tom and I got in a quick 200 miles and we’re home by 11 am with the temperature at 91 and sticky.

Good ride.
