Yes, GEn1 and Gen3 have the same one. Gen2 had a different size piston which affected clutch effort/lever travel.

Checked tire pressure and hung my side cases on...
I just might ride into work in the morning.
It'll be cool, but it's only a 30 minute commute... Afternoon is supposed to be really nice.
If so, I'll quit early and go for a blast around the back roads for a few hours.

Yah, they're so rare. I had them living in my townhouse condo garage when I lived in Kitchener.

Same ionbeam.
I did see a couple of bikes out and about on Sat.
Not me though. I don't want to even drive my truck on the sand, salt and absolutely pothole strewn roads around here.

Thought aboot riding in today, but:
1. I don't have a parking permit for it yet. (The client where I'm working requires all vehicles to have a permit.)
B. I haven't yet put forth the effort to figure out the best way to lash a bass trombone to it.

Walked past my sets of tires I had ordered for Arkansas and CFO this year. Also walked past the rashed helmet and jacket, reminding me why there is no bike with those tires...

I rode mine to work. I was so happy that it was above 60F so I did not have to run the heated grips.

Smuggler finally arrived and installed. Much better fit and finish then expected. Had read that some rubbing was a problem but can't detect any after about 100 miles.

Currently enjoying spring in New England where we typically alternate, one day it's sunny and 22° and the next it's almost 50° with heavy rain. Today is the rain card at 33°. Way down south in Boston today is season opening day for the Red Sux, have a nice day fellers.

Here’s an interesting tidbit..clutch slave units are $200.00 cdn, and they are back-ordered 4-6 months.

So... why would someone with a '17 FJR know this? Or, is this 1953 Vincent parts? I'm pretty sure that a cable pull clutch doesn't have a slave cylinderCollingsBob wrote: ↑Tue Apr 09, 2019 9:49 am Here’s an interesting tidbit..clutch slave units are $200.00 cdn, and they are back-ordered 4-6 months.

Well, Speedbleeders have their threads coated with thread sealant goop, which increases the resistance when screwing them in. This increased resistance made it hard for me to determine when the bleed screw was all the way home.ionbeam wrote: ↑Tue Apr 09, 2019 9:58 amSo... why would someone with a '17 FJR know this? Many thanks to raYzerman, with his encyclopedic knowledge of FJR’s for finding one of the very few compatible used clutch slave units on ebay for me.
