At least it gets Uncle Hud outside 295 so he won't have to deal with 295 in his commute. Most people would take a cut in pay if it resulted in avoiding 295 in their daily commute
Congratulations on the new job!

How about I-95..... it's a killer too! Do all the busy routes end in 95 or 5? Pretty much.

Going to Fort Phil Kearny today the site of the Fetterman Massacre in 1866. Interesting history Along the Bozeman trail.

I read a book on this past winter about the battle and decided to go there.
And Ray you just have to ride Hwy 14 from Shell Wyoming to Bridger Junction. Great road!

The whole PNW was the scene of what basically was the attempted genocide of the Indians... interesting history. You can go to some of those battlegrounds and "feel" what was going on if you know the story behind it.

Rode down to the Moonshine Store for lunch. The amount of young chicks here is a problem. Put some clothes on and go back home. Jeez. These girls dads must have no idea what they are doing.

Bunch a old perverts. I have often asked myself when I have seen a cutie. Voice in my head.
Cav: “Dang, that chick is hot”
Nanoseconds later
Cav. “I wonder if my daughter and her are about the same age”.
Cav. “Gosh I hope not”
Anyway back to the pictures.
Very busy today. At least 50 people outside. They were slinging the food out the window as fast as they could.
My buddy Ryan. First time down there. He had to get the Double Bacon Moon Burger
Mine came out first. I was limiting myself and got the Chicken Bacon BBQ sandwich. Extra pickles and peppers. I also splurged and got an IBC Creme Soda.
Nice ride down and back for sure!

Re: What did you do to your FJR today?
RaYzerman,
In the USA, most two-digit even numbered highways are east-west. Most two-digit odd numbered highways are north-south. Three-digit highways are usually spur routes or city bypasses (e.g. I-495 is the Washington DC beltway. It takes the I-95 route around the city, instead of through it.
Freeway exits are numbered by the Mile Markers. Exit 33 will be at Mile Marker 33, on any highway. Some Internet maps give you the Mile Markers, so you can learn "your" exit number in advance, and know how many miles it may be to "your" exit, at any Mile Marker.

Yeah, I ride motorcycles. I know why dogs put their heads out of the car windows.
Yeah, I fly hang gliders (3000 hrs.+). I know why the birds sing.

Been there with and without the herd. Liked it better without. Good burgers, and good excuse for a destination. Louanne's mom grew up in Martinsville, IL so very familiar with the area.Cav47 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 10, 2020 3:14 pmBunch a old perverts. I have often asked myself when I have seen a cutie. Rode it from Sheridan Wy to Red Lodge My via Hwy 16, into the 93° basin, through Cody Wyoming over Chief Joseph and Beartooth Passes. The temp was 57 at Beartooth summit.

I entered the park at Gardiner on Thursday where I found a five car wait. The traffic wasn't bad. My bet is it won't be bad on Saturday - getting ready to find out. What ever - I have all day and am in no hurry. The temps on Saturday will be in the mid 70's so that isn't too bad.Pterodactyl wrote: ↑Fri Jul 10, 2020 9:45 pmHope your luck holds out.
