Where is the “Off Topic” area?
You might be wondering where the “off topic” area is and more importantly, where the TGIF thread is. Fear not, they exist. As a new user, you are required to post at least 5 times before you can view the off topic area. Once you hit 5 posts, you will see it in a category called “The Sheep’s Pen”.
The Sheep’s Pen contains an “Off Topic” forum for general conversation. There is also a specific area for jokes called – wait for it – “Jokes and General Jackassary” for the knee slappers you want to share.
Lastly, there is the “Backyard”. The backyard area is for talking about the hot button flavor of the day – politics, religion, taxes, etc. There is a special set of forum rules for the Backyard that must be followed. You will have to request membership in order to see the Backyard forum. By requesting membership in the group, you are indicating you have read and agree to the forum rules.
The Backyard is where you will find the “TGIF” thread. It is still definitely Not Safe for Work.
Enjoy!
