Washed the bugs off it this evening. Put just a tick under 600 miles on yesterday...

If Marty was with ya, you'd have more than a few ticks under 600.

Rode it to work today. First time this year since my tib/fib fracture in March. Feels good to be back on the bike. Yea!

You're right about that, Alan. I've broken only one bone due to motorbike mishap but 4 bones from skiing accidents.

Rode it to work. Came home and washed it. It’s some kind of hot summer sticky (the bike). Between rain and bugs, it looks like Dirty Mike and the boys used it as an F shack (also known as a Soup Kitchen). Not the rain film we know and love, but questionable splotches. Washing it now.

Rode it to work for the 3rd day this week. Monday was a frog strangling downpour so I took the truck.

Rode it to work, despite 70% chance of rain this pm. Hey, a shower in 90-degree heat, on the way home, is not a big deal.

(Avon Storm 3D tires have already proven their wet pavement abilities. <--- Thanks, BigJohnSD.)

As my blinking abs light has transcended from only appearing in high heat conditions to just any old time, pulled the front brake lever and introduced a little bit of silicon to the switch. Cleaned and lubed everything else. Props to jwilly for letting me borrow his code apparatus to help me sniff around this academic problem. Bike runs and stops as good as evar.

Rode north to visit friends for a long weekend outside of Washington, DC stopping to have lunch with Ken the HD Guy in Lynchburg, VA along the way. Rode through a couple thunderstorms with torrential rains. The Riken Raptor car tire performs beautifully with a Michelin Pilot Power 2CT up front, even in 2-3" water running across the road.

Same. Picked up oil and filter and plan on doing that tomorrow. Fresh set of RS3's arrived. My last set are only about half done. I'll try to kill them before YFO/EOM >:D

I'm putting on engine guards this afternoon, in preparation for my first ride on the bike down to Laurens, SC to see a certain 1911 about getting a power strip installed. It's been so long since I've been on the bike...I hope I don't wheelie by accident!
