We interrupt this thread for a slight pile on to the jacking....
Like all of us, before I read his prose, I look at Marty's avatar to identify who's the author of the literary words of genius that I'm fixing to read. Then after I read them, I always think of this:

Somehow, it just fits....
We now return you to the previous color opinions thread...

I opened that on my work phone and reflexively threw it against the wall...

I was already considering a white helmet, after seeing yours last week and how much more conspicuous it was. And now all this.

That's the reason I bought my white helmet. I was riding behind Aireboss on the Kali trip...and that white color just pops with the surroundings. Turned in the yellow helmet for the white one.bill lumberg wrote: ↑Thu Nov 29, 2018 7:45 pmI was already considering a white helmet, after seeing yours last week and how much more conspicuous it was. Been too busy to think much, but the black/white combo is looking like a winner.

I often have found myself when I was not looking, nor did that discovery take place where I thought it would be.

Re: Color opinions from all you Martha Stewart wannabees.
Again, late to see this, but I haven't been around much. Regarding wraps, I'll say this:
No matter what YouTube depicts and how easy they look, wraps are a phenomenal pain in the ass to install. I'm sure once you've done a few and have the hang of it they become much easier, but I would not recommend trying to wrap your bike as a first or even 10th time project.
I have scratches on the lower part of my bags from drops and dumb shit. I sprayed Plastidip on the lower half and that worked out great. As it eventually wore off, I decided to try a carbon fiber wrap. I had to go to Pep Boys and buy more because I tore a hole in a large piece. FYI, you have to heat the wrap to 190° to make it "forget" its original shape so you also need an infrared thermometer. That wrap has been on there for a while and while the front curves are bubbling up and will eventually come off, they are good for now.
When I get tired of those, I have the textured black paint that I'll just spray on instead. I might as well nut up and just do it. If you look around, I'm betting there is some place in Atlanta that will wrap the bike for you for less than $500. My buddy had a Triumph ST 1050 that he had wrapped more than once. Those guys are very good at it.
Good luck.
