I got a mid-day 240 mile ride in today up in North GA mountains. Not many bikes out on the road but had some fun running with the sport bike guys on Blood Mountain. Grabbed a late lunch at TWO for the last time this year before they close for the Winter.

I’d be more than happy to swear under oath that having watched you ride for many, many miles, there is no way in hell you could be speeding through those curves. -0face

What did I do to my FJR today? I told it that we were going to D&H in Cullman, AL Saturday, to perpetrate 4 years of Y.E.S. #FirstHeardItFromHud.

Rode it to work as usual. Day 621 consecutive ride. Probably be riding home in the rain and Saturday forecast calls for rain as well. Sunday should be nice though, forecast calling for 60. Hope all is well with the rest of you.

Rode it to one of the local Harley dealers this morning. No, I haven't lost my mind and I'm not trading my bike in. Facebook friend shared a link informing me this dealership runs a Polar Bear winter riders mileage contest and they thought I should sign up since I ride every day. Dealer was actually really cool and welcoming about it. I'm classed with the bikes with fairing class and was the first one to sign up. Starting mileage on my bike is 113,600 and the contest runs through March 23. All I have to do is stop in once per month and have then check my odometer. A few of their staff said they'd be rooting for me as the winner of the past 2 seasons is apparently not that well liked. LOL. I checked what my mileage was for this time frame from last year to see how I would have done and I probably would have won but there are some missing mileages in my notes from last year so I can't be exact. Last years winning mileage was just over 2600 miles between December 1 and March 23. Day 622 consecutive riding.

Oh, it took me 50+ miles to get home so I could get a good start on the contest.

Fresh oil change after 4500 miles. The yamalube holds up really well. I get it shipped to the house for $18 a gallon from Rocky Mtn ATV.

Also ordered parts Plugs for the next valve check.

Rode it 7 hours, 6 of that in heavy rain, the other hour in mere mortal rain. Took a long time for temps to reach 50F, and then they leveled out. Props to D&H Cycle of Cullman, AL for four years of Y.E.S. for $385. With all the rain, I should have just mailed them payment. But I don’t usually switch a ride due to weather. Folks at D&H were very friendly and pleasant to talk to. You could spend 2 hours in there looking at bikes and gear. Just got home. Started a fire and had an espresso with Jack Daniel’s to drive the chill from my bones.

More like $19.00 a gallon. Free shipping on orders over $75. I had some "RM cash", which lowered my overall cost.

Well, I ordered a set of tires from RMATV yesterday at 9:32am.

On the door step today when I left for a KLX ride about 11:30.

Shinko Ravens for about 165 delivered. Can’t complain about that!

I really like that vendor. They are fast with the shipping. I got a tracking number yesterday in an hour.

Enough with the tire talk. I’m trying to hold off on ordering a set of PR4GT’s or PR5’s for ready stock. The factory tires won’t last that long.
