Yeah, pretty hot and muggy today. Did they pass out from the heat?

Must be gonna drop below 75f.
Yep. 40 is below 75 so you win!

Rode it to work again. Kind of anticlimactic after the weekend Void Rally. Day 568 consecutive ride of 10 miles or more. Realized on my way home yesterday from Fredericksburg that I've put on 12k miles in the past 15 weeks.

Rode it in chilly temps: 55F as I pulled out of the garage this morning. Grip heaters on middle setting.

FYI, if you have rear crash guards, any dimensional variance will cause positional issues potentially. I used some swear words and it seemed to work. No time for a test ride today, but soon enough.

Those look like t-Rex. My t-Rex bag guards have been tested twice. Zero damage to the bike. Zero damage to the guards.

My right T-Rex was tested last year, bent it back enough to kiss the saddlebag, had to replace it, no way to straighten it.

Nice 200 mile run up North Cascades and back. Rode with Fontanaman to Ross Lake overlook where we parted ways where he continued heading east and home. Started the day with electrics...35F and foggy when I rolled out of the garage. Brrr!

Oil change, pumpkin oil change, rear brakes finally done. Actually, didn't do the pads as they have plenty of life left on them. Hung the pads on the peg board and maybe at 100K they'll be ready for a change. I did swap out both bleeders for the rear (front and back linked) with speed bleeders and pumped through a lot of brake fluid. Should be good to go for a while now. Love the speed bleeders, I'm sold on them.

Rode it to work this morning. Had to hang up the mesh jacket in favor of something warmer. 57 degrees on the ride in bu should hit 70 later today. Day 575 consecutive riding. Cold weather is approaching fast and after a pretty hot summer is testing my resolve to continue riding daily if I need to bundle up like the Michelin man.

Chuck, that's crazy with the weather. Enjoy it because down here in warm Texas it's 44F and it'll get up to 45F today. Gonna rain the whole time.

Jasen - I'm a believer in speed bleeders too since I witnessed John use them in my shop earlier this year. Next brake/clutch flush, that's gonna happen.

300 miles yesterday with a few buddies. Had a nice time. It's warm again, but at least the humidity is not quite as bad. Looking forward to having BugDug over later this week.

Rode it to work this morning with a low of 37 degrees. I'd say Winter is here early, but it's sunny outside right now and that's not normal Seattle winter. :)

Cranked that right handlebar twisty thingy...and rode roads I've never been on.

Loving the fact that when they get twistier, I know I'm getting close to home.

Bug was in good health when we left him in Huntsville, Alabama. He had a gleam in his eyes, and as he viewed that tall Saturn V rocket standing vertical along the expressway...I had the feeling he wanted to go all Major TJ "King" Kong on that missile.

Get ready PPants...he's looking forward to adventure.
