Re: What did you do to your FJR today?
Today, I walked past my FJR in the shop and metaphorically told her that she will have to wait. There won't be any riding this weekend.
No, the weather forecast is going to be gorgeous. Temps will be about 50 at daybreak, warming up to about 75 mid day. No, the bike is certainly ready, willing, and able to take me wherever I want to go. No, I'm feeling just great. Not an ache to speak of. In that light, a nice ride would be great.
But my wife had knee replacement surgery Wednesday and my girl needs me. She's hurting plenty, but she doing the work and Coach Pants is holding the whistle.
There will be plenty of time to ride soon.

Good on you pants. I ordered mine Clearwaters. Didn’t want to spend the money, but I think it’ll be worth it. I ride almost daily in the dark. But when riding in strange places, in the dark, after 16 hours in the saddle, I think those are the times they’ll be most worth it. We shall see.

Rode 325 miles to Springfield IL Saturday to meet a couple buddies for dinner and beers. Turned around and rode it back on Sunday. Freakin' awesome for the first weekend in December!

Adjusted my barkbusters down so I get a little less hand protection, but can actually use my mirrors. Nailed down an installer for my Krista/Erica kit.

That typically is not much of a fun ride unless you know of some decent backroads. Along the rivers is the best.
I often have found myself when I was not looking, nor did that discovery take place where I thought it would!

If you looked to your right as you headed home, you could probably see 4 Nookey plants...even the one way up at Byron.

Same here. Was 42°, though. (That Fahrenheit for you Canadians.) Very light drizzle, which is a pain when it's warm; today's it's the Devil's addition to our freezing cold misery.

I rode my Tacoma into work in the dark, -5C, snowsquall, contemplated putting it in 4x.
Planning on shoveling the driveway when I get home.
In the dark.
FML.
In better news, I managed to get a new family doctor. Hopefully this one won't want to stick a bluejay in my ear for every issue.

Good luck. $105 for a mirror brand new. Yes, I know this from experience.

LKLD - try Partshark. They had the best prices (I've bought a mirror already).
