The Australian Alps are more like the Appalachians than the Alps, the Bighorns, the Rockies or the Sierra Nevadas. Still fun.

ABC Chicken looks pretty good. I'll try that in my kitchen.

End of a great run, back in Taree, NSW, AU tonight, some 8,300 kilometres, 21 days, temps from 4 c to 47 c (39F to 116.6 F). What an experience!

Great Mates to ride with

A stalwart steed too.

Simply a great experience!

Brian tells me several of you have expressed interest in doing this trip. I encourage everyone to take advantage of the opportunity. The country is vast, different yet the same, climatologically similar to central California but hotter at least this year. Tasmania is unbelievable, if you come you have to ride Tassie! 10 days was just right in Tassie.

SWMBO and my daughter are in Sydney, I'm not allowed to appear before noon on Friday, the day we board the Ruby Princess to sail to Auckland. I'll start another thread for that somewhere.
