Rear seal leak

Agreed. Too much grease on the spines. Get some degreaser and wash it off. It'll be fine.

I have done that a few times. It doesn't take much grease before it's just a mess.

Not saying it isn't a seal issue, but I'd sure check this first before spending $$$

I'll check the underneath weep hole, if clear, I'll clean the axle up.

I dont remember taking a fist full of grease and putting it on the splines. but from previous comments, that is likely the case...

So do you see oil or splooge coming out of the weep hole under the shaft housing?

That’s way more spline grease than I use for sure.

Nope. I guess I just had an I cant believe its not butter moment.

All cleaned up now. Just need time to take it for a spin to make sure it stays clean. Bearings felt good. I am guessing it was a Mechanic brain fart moment.

Oh, While I was at it, I went ahead and changed my rear pads. I have had them on the shelf for a while, bought at 30k now at 50k, and probably could have gone at least another 20k or more before needed. Anyways... My caliper bolts were stripped from the factory.... Both of them. YEAH!!
