Drift Stealth, Garmin VIRB Elite... had an older GoPro, like smaller sleeker format, but 'spoze the new ones are nice (and expensive). The Garmin can be controlled via certain Garmin GPS's and/or with a small remote... either of which I would not do without. The Drift's remote died, I suspect I need to replace it's battery, as a new one is unobtainium. Both the Drift and VIRB are older now obsolete but well featured, and you can pick them up for cheap. Or there's that Sena integrated one which I'm sure is kool too.
I have mounts in a coupla places including the helmet.

GoPro suction mount right in the front of the bike. Can tether with a cord around the windshield bracket.

Mounted on clutch reservoir. A little distortion from bend in windshield, but not too bad. This also allows you to see the tach in the corner of the picture.

I enjoy using GoPro"s on all my bikes and rides. If its a ride with friends I sometimes will make a ride video to share with them. I also like to make photos out of some really good frames like those below. On the FJR I mount the camera on the chin bar of my FF helmet. It is upside down but the camera corrects for that.

I copied the URL and put it in between the img brackets but does not seem to work. Gotta be doing something wrong. Anyway the links work ok but would like to have the photos where you can see them instead of the ole double click.

Nice pixs! Your links don't end in JPG, GIF, PNG or BMP so they don't display in this Forum. In Smugmug, first log in to your account. Select a picture to view, then in the lower right corner with the pictures you will see a small box with an arrow pointing up to the right, this is the box to click to create links to the pictures.

Image

When the pop-up opens click on Choose A Size, it will then pop-up this box:

Image

Click on the size you want for the image, Smugmug will then show the URL to the picture and it will end in JPG. Click on the link and copy it (Ctrl C) then paste it in the message box in this Forum and enclose it in the img tags. The link will look like this (I added a space to break the link so it would display):

Thumbs up! Looking forward to more. Umm, have you seen the calendar picture thread?

Just a suggestion, you may want to put a space between the pixs to give them a little separation.

Where's the first photo taken? I've seen it in photos before but never knew where it was located.

If you don't have editing functions now, a few more posts and that will be in your wheel house.
