Rode it to work again. Above average temps here in Central PA. News this morning said this January could break into the top 10 for warmest January on record. I'm not complaining.

Nice...my dad use to let me fly the lawnmower around the yard, when I was a kid...
??? The only lawnmower my dad trusted me with was a gas powered reel mower that took about three times as long as it should have to do the lawn. I am in awe.

...gas powered? We had a push powered reel mower...the kind without the gas engine.

Swingarm bearings ok, not a lot grease but all looks good. Greased the swingarm and cleaned it. Thats done. Debating the best way to tackle getting the center stand bolt cutoff and lubing the bearings. But that is tomorrows job.

I used my Sawsall reciprocating saw... With a fresh, fine toothed metal cutting blade it took all of 14.5 seconds to cut the bolt(s).

I used one of these, with the blade designed for metal. with a little oil and patience, it worked beautifully.

I rode it to a friends house so he could show me how a proper plug change and throttle body sync is performed. Learned a lot.

I transferred the bracket for the Garmin from the dash shelf to the handlebar mount that I’ll be using on the rental bike.

200-ish miles today by myself. Weather was great. Went to the drag strip and watched a pretty good bracket race. Had fun today.

The FJR got to watch while I took the wing apart for major service. You haven't lived until you do the air filter in a wing.

Rode mine to work as well today. Forecast high of 60 this afternoon means I'm hoping to give it a good bath after work.
