Washed it and put it back in hibernation for a few days.

The Flight 93 memorial is about 63 miles from home. If you'd like to tour and spend the night here, then continue on to Marietta, you'd be welcome.

Re: What did you do to your FJR today?
An email arrived in my inbox this afternoon with a familiar-looking red FJR. Apparently, Griff's been brown nosing somebody really hard ...
One of the MANY great bonus submission efforts we saw in the initial days. This one by BMR veteran #613 Griff. This is textbook style BMR bonus submission. Nice job Griff ... and ditto to the many others who continually make great efforts at the bonus locations.

Re: What did you do to your FJR today?
It's not too cold to ride it but it rains every damned day.
I walked past the FJR to hang this huge banner on the wall above my work bench:
Some of you probably know that I have been dealing with a few personal issues lately and have not had much to give to this wonderful community. I am sincerely grateful and somewhat amazed at how wonderful some of you folks are. The fact that a sarcastic jackass like myself has been blessed with the superb friends that I have is a source of constant amazement for me.
Thanks Cav. I really, really needed this today.

Re: What did you do to your FJR today?
Didn't actually do anything but I did go out and sit on it. After my Jan 25th left hip replacement I was worried but I completely gave up my cane about 2 days ago. Still a little limp but moocho gooder than even last week. I had no problem with the width of the seat (Yamaha Comfort) but the stretch to the floor is a little uncomfortable. I still have the seat in the "high" position, lower one may be better for a while. I foresee no difficulties riding regularly by mid-April.
Plus, yesterday I visited a Yamaha Suzi dealer up the road. No FJRs but he did have 5 windshield screws on the shelf. I think a few of mine are busted so I got those. Then I drove another hr or so to check out a matte blue. Sorry kids, not a fan. It's an '18A, $15,9xx-ish, at Ride Now Power Sports in Concord, NC.

Re: What did you do to your FJR today?
Today, I saw one FJR on the road ... on I-285 west of atlanta. No sir, it was not Uncle HUD, as this one was a gen 1 bike, an ‘04. Dude was enjoying himself in the light rain though, clipping along with me (in the Highlander) at a brisk 80mph.
Now relaxing in the hotel room in Blue Ridge, GA, or as my wife and I like to refer to it ..... future home sweet home. We’ll be here until Tuesday, celebrating our kind of Mardi Gras.
Stay thirsty, my friends.....
